How do you guys feel about them hanging longways off the dragon wagons with only 1 row of bolt holes to attach to? Any concerns about deflection or strength anywhere?

Theirs no issues with hanging the block off the side. I do it all the time.

Is there any deflection with using the 28” cast tower block on the sides of the dragon wagon? The table is big enough for most of my uses but wondering if I’d be able to extend the surface using 4 of them, doubling the length of the table to do frames or gates.

Using the tower blocks is a great way to expand the Dragon wagon top. There will always be a small amount of deflection but it can be minimal if the tower is positioned close to a rib under the table to prevent the sides from deflecting. But yes go for it!

I used aluminum foil to shim the bottom of the connection to the table and got everything to level nicely with the 14" block I have. I could see the 28" block deflecting even more than the 14" one though, so not sure if that alone will get everything leveled out or if the leverage of the longer block will induce additional deflection in the table somewhere.
I bet if you needed to be really exact, a leveling leg could be added to the block to remove the leverage it’s exerting on the table. It’d be a DIY solution, but not particularly hard or expensive to implement.
