# Hard hat welding

Starting a job where I have to wear a hard hat while welding. Any advice on what hard hat to buy or set ups that you guys like?

I just used a cheap white plastic hard hat. I used a 3M speedglas hood with the hard hat band hardware. White to help keep cool in the summer.
