# Is Your Combination Square Really Square?

I checked mine against a machinists square on a surface plate. The combination square is NOT square!

@Nosferatu How old is it? Will you continue to use it in its current condition? How far out is it?

@Fireball_Jason It’s at least 20 years old. I don’t use it for anything that requires real accuracy. I could slip a .065 feeler gage between the square and blade in a couple spots. It’s fine for construction stuff.

Mine was shipped damaged only scratches  
Metal to soft I have not got to use it yet  
I want to trade for a cast iron one  
But I have called and emailed customer service  
And nothing yet…
