Hi Knick, The diameter of the ABS pipe depends on the size of your cut pieces. A four “ día only takes one 2 1//2 square section. But a 3” día can take four 1” square tubing. I hesitated due to the price but the other option was creating a plastic bag to wrap around the cut pieces to hold the vinegar but I didn’t think this was a lasting repeatable solution. I have some 4” square sections x 14’ that I will be working with in the summer and I might try the plastic bag method then.

Yes the more I think about this the better I like it. I am keeping a eye out on market place and local auctions for PVC pipe. Thanks for posting!
