I am having a grounding issue on my 36"x24" Dragon Wagon. I will get an arc every so often that takes a small chunk out of the cast iron. Curious about any potential solutions other than grounding directly to the part.
This is coming from an arc jumping between the ground clamp and table or your table and your work creating an arc gouge. Best practice I have found to avoid this is to ground to your work using a clamp or a magnet or attach a table clamp to your work and ground to the post on the clamp.

Thanks Jason. Repair was going to be my next question.
As long as the mark is a recess in the table, best to ignore it. If there’s a raised portion, use a small stone to remove it as you would a ding.
