Just sharing some ideas for 3D printed storage. Smaller trays are handy to set on your table while you set up, and keep all the small parts within reach.
And you can stick this near the sidekick vise to have them handy when you need them.

Looks great. Stl files available?
Yes, but can’t attach .stl or .stp files here.
these are great, would you be able to upload to printables or similar ?
That’s my plan, will post when I get around to posting them.
Nice!
I made a few Gridginity boxes for my shims (the empty slots have been filled since the picture was taken ;))
The tray with the pens looks like Slotfinity. I’m the designer; how are you liking it?
Haha cool! I just needed something to try out the Gridfinity system. I have a few Lista cabinets with very similar system for all my drills, cutting tools etc. For being 3d-printed yours worked great. They fit in the lowest Lista drawers but just barely (in height).
I modeled up some Gridfinity for Fireball stuff last night after work too. Will possibly start posting them to my Printables this weekend once I have had the opportunity to make test prints.
Avaliable now on Printables.
or search my name.
Here are my first couple of Gridfinity models for the Fireball fixtures, tested for fit. I will post additional models as I get them drawn, printed, and tested.
The next up should be a holder for the 1" post pins, followed by a block for the tacking bolts or alignment pins, and another for spare 3/4" studs, assuming I didn’t make any drafting errors. After that I have a holder for the 6" extension block drawn, with the next CAD project to be one for the tooth block kit.
That’s probably the last one for a while. The stupid forum software won’t let me post more than 3 times in a row unless somebody else replies, so I have had to keep editing this post. The 1-2-3 block holders are obviously not Fireball specific and there are lots of different versions of them out there. These are height matched to the rest of the FB holders that I made, and they use the 6x3 magnets that I prefer over the 6x2 that Gridfinity typically uses.
