7 Easy Ways to Side Clamp On a Fireball Fixture Table

We just dropped a new video showing seven different ways to clamp sideways on a fixture table. You can watch it right here.

If you’ve ever run into a situation where you need to push a part from the side instead of clamping down, this is for you. The Fireball Table System is built to be flexible, and this video shows just how many tools we’ve developed to make that possible.

1. Gooseneck Clamp Hack
Split the 90° Gooseneck into two pieces, use just the side-pusher half. Simple and effective.

2. Sidewinder Clamp
Pop it in the hole and you’re ready to clamp from either a high or low position.

3. Twin Pin Plier
Uses two rod positions for vertical or side clamping. Drop it in a table hole and pull your part tight.

4. Quick Clamp on a Riser
Repurpose a standard quick clamp by mounting it to a riser for a solid side clamp solution.

5. Low Profile Push Clamp + Tooth Block
Lock it in with a pin, then use the cam to push. Great for fast part changes like pulling parts in and out.

6. Tooth Block Wedge
Drop it at the end of a hole and use the cam to bind. You can also add a second clamp to resist rotation if needed.

7. New Clamp Prototype
We’re still working on the name, (Twin Screw or maybe Double Dragon) but this prototype lets you clamp from the side and the top simultaneously.

But wait, there’s more!
It can also be used on a riser for even more clamping capabilities.

It’s not released yet, but we wanted to give you a sneak peek. And if you’ve got a good name for this guy, please post it down below!

We made this video because we kept getting questions about how to side clamp efficiently, and the truth is, there’s more than one way. That’s what makes the Fireball system so powerful. Every clamp, block, and riser is designed to work together to create fixturing setups that are fast, stable, and adaptable.

We’d love to hear what side-clamping tricks you’ve come up with too, drop your setups and ideas below. And let us know what you think we should call the new prototype clamp.
