Hey guys. I love my hardtail. However ive had some instances where an item thats in the jaws, loosens and falls. Its happening when hammering, vibrations with an impact or angle grinder. The handle will drop loose. I have to be careful to keep it where the weight will keep it snug or rest against it.
Anyone else have similar issue? Maybe we need some kind of lock to hold it?
The vise is to lubricated. Disassemble the screw, tube nut and thrust bearing, and clean and remove the grease. Reassemble the parts dry. This will fix it.
