What side of a bumper is best for permanent mounting a vise? Driver or passenger side? What side did you mount yours on and why? Please don’t say trailer hitch.

I would think passenger side allows you to park on the side of the road and use it and not be at risk of being in traffic.

Aside from being farther away from the crazies on the road, being right handed…busting out the sawzall, mallet, or the spicy wrench (torch) its on the clear side of the truck.
it depends on your site but I would put it in line with the frame for greatest stability and strength. I did truck equipment installatintions for over 25 years.
