Is a bad idea to ground through the table and into the work. Any gap in between the work and the table will start to arc and erode the machined table surface. It’s a good idea to ground directly to the work to ovoid this.
well, thanks for getting back so soon. Good To know, I didn’t know you would mess with your finish Table. Because on my T slot table, I ground right to the leg and everything‘s very well connected.

No I was never going to return them.

Heres some things you can do with your shop press to help save time and make things consistent
- Put a little knob on the release valve so you dont have to take out the lever bar and wedge the bar into it every time
- Get a pressure gauge installed in the jack, that way you can jack it up to a repeatable force for unbending all 8 of your T joints for instance rather than just counting pumps and winging it
