Hi, I just saw your video where you are testing vise strength with square tubes, and I’m wondering what kind of tubes we can use in Europe to do testing. Could you get hold of metric tubes (like 50x50x5 mm) and do some measuring, or is it possible to calculate it? Of course it doesn’t have to be precise, just having a rough ballpark is fine by me and probably for others. Like if it can bend 1/4” but not 3/8”, it is somewhere in between, and for me that is better than guessing how much force it can apply.
Yes it’s possible, I’ll have to source metric tubing to see the difference.
