Quantum group lying about fireball?

After assembling my dragon wagon I felt intense satisfaction with how pristine it is and how much it oozes quality. Just looking at how perfectly all the chamfers align at the corners speaks to the precision of the table. The table they show has no coating, no oil, no gridlines, and is covered in rust. As far as I know, the only fireball tables that don’t include gridlines are the pro kits. Did fireball sell the table shown in the video or is Quantum group pretending a nockoff is a genuine fireball product? This seems very suspect to me and the comments are gobbling it up.

I was watching a video on their site and it was full of underhanded jabs towards fireball, so wouldn’t surprise me if their lack of character is present in other areas.

Yea that was an original table without the grid lines. Grid lines were requested by customers so we added them. We were aware quantum/ Red Beard purchased the tables. All our tables are inspected before shipping and o the customer. 4 months has lapsed before since red beard received the tables and the quantum video was uploaded. That’s certainly enough time to force the raw table to rust with negligence. The dragon scale is an incredible feat to get it to rust. It looks like it’s just rust from water on top for some reason. It’s also missing the oil paper which is supposed to be on. It look to have been removed at some point. It’s unfortunate that quantum forced the rust. I’d be in favor of a rust test designed in a scientific manner between the two and tables. Yes the tables were raw cast iron and would surly lose in a rust test if neglected. But I really like the raw cast iron for clean up and looks. It’s no secret that rust will form on raw cast iron if neglected. But to say fireball shipped a rusty table to a competitor is crazy.

Thanks for the info. Seems like they opened it, removed the oil paper, washed it down, and then put it back in the crate outside.
