How Fireball Fixture Tables Arrive

Ever wonder how we actually ship our tables?

There’s been a video floating around recently claiming our cast iron tables show up covered in rust. Luckily, the Fireball community speaks for itself.

Matthew just took delivery of two large Dragon Wagons and shot this awesome video showing exactly what they look like straight out of the crate. Huge thanks to Matthew for taking the time to make this and setting the record straight!

We don’t just ship bare cast iron. Every table gets our Dragon Scale finish, which is a treatment that protects against rust and stops weld spatter from sticking. After applying a heavy coat of shipping oil, we wrap the tables in plastic and paper, seal them tight, strap them to a pallet, and ship them out.

Because of all that prep, they survive the freight trip without a speck of rust. As Matthew shows, all it takes is a quick wipe-down with a shop towel and these tables are ready to go straight into production.

Check out the video below. Thanks again to Matthew and all of you for the continued support!

This how my diy fixture table arrived, absolutely perfectly packaged.

Excellent. Got any of it set up?

Hi Jason, YESSSSS and I am very happy.

The quality is awesome, you can see my older table at the back lol.

I saved space to install the spacer for the sidekick vise, but I am waiting for it to be available here in Europe (Portugal).

Thank you, Jason! You’ve inspired me to learn more about welding.

Now I am much more prepared to achieve better results.

PS.: Welding the legs using the 3-axis square and having less then 2 mm the distortion blows my mind hahahah

Cheers
Claudio

Looks incredibly! Nice job. It looks very professional. Looking forward to seeing the projects it helps you build.
