Table Drill Template

I recently purchased the 5/8 drill template and was wondering which annular cutter brand/supplier was used in its design?

The cutters I purchased for my project are slightly larger than the holes in the drill template, and since I’m on a budget, I don’t want to spend a ton of time and money experimenting with different cutters until I find one that works.
My drill template measures 5/8, and my 5/8 twist drills fit it perfectly, so I can only assume the cutters I bought are really 16mm cutters masquerading as 5/8.

My background, I’m an experienced fabricator and retired veteran who is in the early stages of launching my own business. I chose this route to a quality fixture table because I already have the 7/8 steel plate; I just need the holes. Since I have time available, it is the cheapest option with the most reward for me

I can’t comment on 5/8 or where you’re sourcing them from but I used Hougen and S&F (stead and fast) from Amazon. They fit the template with great tolerance and very snug with all of my fixtures. My table is 3/4 system. The S&F drilled like 800 holes on one cutter. The tally and cutter reviews are in my thread.

A Champion or hougen carbide cutter works well
