I would love to have a set of plans complemented by a video (which would allow them to work mostly independently) to give to students. This way, they can follow along and build something useful. Perhaps a tool that everyone could use, utilizing your Dragon wagon, would be awesome, preferably made out of structural steel to help keep costs down.

How about a “benchtop” version of a layout table? 1/2" x18" x 24" top with grid pattern holes and 1.5" x1.5" x 8" tube legs. Store it when you don’t need it, pull it out and put on top of any bench to use as a surface to square up fabrication pieces. Dimensions are just an idea, could be taller, shorter, longer, wider. Throw it in your truck to take to the jobsite.
