On the 10x5 x-frame table there are multiple leg mounting positions.
I was wondering the reasons you’d choose the far corner mounts vs the offset mounts (red circles). Is one position better under certain conditions? Would an additional leg in the middle (green circle) be of any benefit over time?

The interior mount pads are for people that sit at the table and don’t want leg obstructions. With the legs inboard it also gives more freedom for side fixture configurations. Internal mounts aids in bolting the platen to an automated rotating machine for robotic welding. The more legs the table has it increases the load capacity.
