Hi everyone. First post and looking for some advice.
I’m about to start ordering some fixtures and clamps for my welding table. The table is not a Fireball product (it is a GPPH 8mm table with 16mm holes at 100mm centres) but I’d like to use the fireball accessories.
What I really want are some fence blocks - some to do 90 degree fixtures and some to form 45-degree angles. I don’t think any of the current Fireball products will work - I have been pouring through the fireball EU website but without any success.
The actual measurements from my table are:
15.9mm dia holes
100.2mm centres
141.5mm centres when measured at 45-degrees between holes diagonally
Any advice would be most welcome as to which Fireball products would work so that I can put together a fixture pack.
Everything we produce in the FM16, FM19, FA75, and FA625 are all on either 2” or 50mm centers so tools such as the fence and tooth blocks (anything that uses two holes for indexing will not work on a table with 100mm spacing.
This product is what I would buy with your setup. The other fence blocks are not going to work because they are setup on a 2” grid. If your table has 15.9mm holes, then I think it’s a 5/8”. ???
These will work but the fence blocks are really ideal. If you are not married to your current table, you might consider a 2” grid table of any kind. Fixtures are as much of an investment as the table. Might as well invest in something that is expandable in the future. I have a 16mm table system and wish it was a 3/4”. I am able to use Fireball 16mm accessories, but there are fewer of them. However, I am able to convert my 16mm into 3/4” if I get a different table. But every thing needs to be the 2” grid in my opinion.
