5” fence block - is this new alternative to the tooth block?

Noticed this fence block. Is this new? Is there further description how this works? Looks like an alternative to the tooth block.

Yes it’s new. You are correct it’s a more adjustable fence block. It will be available soon.

Look forward to a short vid or a written description of its use. Sometimes things that appear simple are so simple looking that I overlook the possibilities!

Going off my last order it looks like the table fixtures took around a 30% price increase on the website?

Is this accurate?

@bb36 yep that is what I noticed too :frowning: … Bummer, but have to pay for the good stuff.

Love to see new fireball products! This one looks promising as well!

Yep! Jason tends to do that.

Got a pair ordered.

These are awesome. Got them yesterday. Thank you.

Is the function of the block self explanatory?

Yes. Pick your spacing by the mark and use the matching hole on the other end which would be 2” apart. It’s also noteworthy that the markings of the 2 holes you pick add up to 3”.
1/4” on one side, 1/8” on the other. It’s just like the tooth block. You can position every 1/8” in the spacing difference of standard fence blocks. Best invention yet.

That’s good to hear, I went in circles with several different block designs to keep easy to use as possible.

I think they’re pretty self explanatory, but I still think you should make a video for them. I love your videos! They’re like Schoolhouse Rock for fabricators.

Yep that’s the plan.

I was planning on making something that would hold spacers to get the same result. I didn’t like how my spacers would fall over when changing out parts. I was thinking something like this would hold them in place. But not sure it’s necessary now. 1/8” is close enough for most of what I do.
