Hey everyone just thought I’d post Alex Jordan’s video on the fireball build challenge. He timed himself building the two tables and talks about some of the challenges along the way. He tests a TIG welded vs MiG welded frame. It’s great to see more fabricators take the challenge.
Would you build the frames the same way Alex did?
Good job. I believe Jason’s emphasis on those videos was to show that any quality fabrication table (flat, consistent, repeatable), along with the welder caring enough about hitting those measurements is what matters. Whether it’s one of his tables, another brand, or a diy from reclaimed materials. Watching the videos, those were the two things the unnamed shops did not have.
