When is a vise not just a vise? When it’s a Fireball hardtail vise. I used mine yesterday to emboss leather. I used it the last week as a fixture holding table to support a back stop extension for my bandsaw. The week before it was holding my bending jig so I could bend up some small straps.
No regrets on buying mine. Sometimes I wonder if the 510 would have been enough in my small and crammed shop, but really, the 614 isn’t much bigger in terms of the floor space it takes up, and bigger is better right?
