Thank you. Big fan as your products have helped me to get started.
This makes the list for things I didn’t care about when my welding table was just plate steel, but very much care about now that I have a fixture table. I always ground to the workpiece now.
Good afternoon Jason
I watched and very much enjoyed the video and a severe test it certainly was. There are posts on the forum about the Xtool Metalfab and other laser systems which I will be giving due consideration to as I’m setting up my retirement space next year with the usual machine tools, welders, benders etc and so on. The Metalfab brings such a depth of capability that just about anything from desert/dirtbike parts fab to art type projects and scopes could now be easily realised for consideration and central to any fabrication is, of course, a table. Has dragon scale been considered for laser flash? As you will probably know that laser cutting can be hard on the concrete unlike plain old plasma or oxy fuel and its wondered if dragonscale is as robust as it is to those processes as was so clearly demonstrated in the video. Regards Mike
I’m not aware of any table material that a laser can’t damage.
Thats good to know for future activities and thank you for the very prompt reply. I’ll be having a think about how best to use any laser equipment and your table for prospective projects. Regards Mike
