One of the more handy modern tools is the handheld circular saw with a steel cutting carbide blade. The can do clean and accurate work and the have the ability to create a lot of extra work when the veer off course. I have dreamed of a driven gantry with this type of saw attached to allowing the saw to cut accurate straight lines but also potentially allowing it to do bevels and ideally partial depth cuts. This type of tool i imagine would extend blade life and be super versatile.
Essentially a Panel Cutter like at a plywood store, but for metal, and with adjustable depth and angle of cut. Good idea.
