@jason I watched the video where you do a tour of the workshop and right at the beginning you talk about your Snap-On toolbox. I wanted to know what tools you bought when you started working with mechanics.
My toolbox is a hodgepodge of tools. When I started, I never had top name brand stuff. I somehow secretly migrated some of my dad’s sears craftsman wrenches, screwdrivers, I traded labor for some of my grandpas proto sockets, but mostly Harbor Freight and pawn shop mix match. Don’t get me wrong would I love a toolbox full of snapon or Mac, yes absolutely. Early on I’ve found that multiples of one tool is more beneficial than one high quality version. The older I get and as money is available, I’ve been upgrading to the “good stuff”. I suppose.
