Ground clamping

I am new to welding and just got a dragon wagon table. I am wondering where to attach my ground clamp when working on small pieces, to small to easily attach the clamp too. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

There’s a few ways to do it. If the parts still needing to be fixtured, you can use a cantilever clamp to attach the ground and clamp the part. The cantilever clamp has an ultra low profile that is easy to weld around. A third hand or a grasshopper can also be used to ground through.

I use and like this one

If you just want to float parts on the table you can use a sacrificial sheet metal that’s wider than your weldment. You’ll ground to that and all the arcing will be on the sheet metal.

Thank you so much. I believe this will work great
