Is there any plans in the works for some kind of table extension? I have the 4.5x8.5 table and I need to make like 75 fence panels that are 6x10. Ive seen some other manufacturers that make table extension brackets that just bolt onto your existing table to give you an extra couple of feet to work with. Any plans for something like this coming up before the end of the year?
They have tower blocks like this one. Is this what you are thinking of?
Not exactly. More like this https://weldtables.com/products/fw2412-certiflat-fabwing-24-x-12-extension-table?srsltid=AfmBOooIsD0apFpia2MITxrxiXAVvQcwdE78m-R2FaBJjIhR1XEzARFsMZw
If tower blocks are not enough to bump out, I just set up half of the panel I’m doing and if its mirrored I just flip it over to do the other end. It helps if a vertical member is in the fixture after you flip it. I use a CNC saw to cut my parts and that makes it easier to have end stops after it flips.
You cant really see it in the pic but the handrail one has a second half out of the frame. The wedge section has a sub assembly in the middle.
You can use tower blocks, Pro kit plates, or dragon wagon platens. Pro Table Kit 3' x 2' (36" x 24" x ½") These plates can be placed on top of some risers off the side of the table
Is there a reason that a full surface is needed? Generally L risers are all that’s needed to expand the table surface in key areas.
I didnt realize you sold risers that were long enough for what I need, I need an extra 18 inches of length and width. Risers would work just fine, as i said, I just didnt know you sold ones that would work for the length that I need. Ill check the store. Thanks Jason!
