hey i have a high schooler soon. he wants to work in the growing space industry. i want him to start building metal projects but get comfortable in the metric system. i tried to email support 3 times, and they haven’t responded. i don’t know if there is something wrong with that system.
do you guys make metric tables on the fixture tables, specifically for the ones for homes?
Reason why, i think getting an intuition for your measurement system is a huge advantage. I was trained to think in inches when i was younger, moved to metric for personal projects, but now that i’m welding again i’m back to imperial.
SpaceX is metric. Nasa is Metric. Building robots/international is all metric.
metric makes just so much sense. when we scale distances. 100cm =1 m =.0001km, etc…
Maybe i’m trying to over think it. I feel that metric is so important going ahead. However, i’m if 1/all your customers asking for it, don’t worry about it.
also, whats up with europe/UK getting cheaper tables than us? i am looking at standard duty 54x30 with casters + workstation + toolkit 2 and its almost 1000 bucks cheaper in both those regions. Will there be a price cut for black friday?
