I am cobot welding technician with a custom rack fabricator that designs and fixture in house, using laser cut jig tables. We are exploring using fixture tables utilizing tooling and clamps. We typically run batches of 20-60 units at a time so change over times are critical. We currently have Siegmund 16mm (5/8) tables. Based on pictures attached do you have any suggestions for us to move towards tooling rather than jig tables.
So you want to move towards the fixture table to replace the laser cut parts? If that’s the case, post a cad model of the part or a drawing and we can help with a fixture map design.
I have several step files. All the skids are assembled first and then assembled into the full assembly. This is a good example of allot of what we do. I’m not sure how to post them here, or if I should send them elsewhere?
