It does not take that much work to get it to look like that.
And believe it or not if you buff to much
It starts to remove the mill scale off.
FYI these are hot rolled sheets not cold rolled.
And when I buy them I have to inspect every
Inch of them, one small scratch can’t use it.

And all sheets come with those heat lines on the sides.
You leave them or shear them out
I waste a lot of 5x10 sheet to get a clean
4x8 lol
Or shear off about 9”s on the ends
I have made this popular where I live
I’m the only one doing at the moment so I get all the calls to do it.

How the heck do you find them with no scratches? Are these all pics of your stuff?
So how do you keep them from rusting after install?
I see this one is rusting already
I go to the steel supply here where I live
And they pull a pallet off the rack.
I pull off about four layers.
To get to the nice ones
They let me shear them because I have to inspect them.
And that’s not rust it’s my hand prints
I forgot my gloves.
The wax won’t let it rust I live in a dry area

Well that would make a big difference, looks good.
I cant imagine how much time you must spend trying to find a sheet scratch free.
you would never find a steel yard around here that would let you come in and go through sheets, let alone shear them yourself, way to much liability!
When you say scratch free you mean even a scratch in the mill scale correct?

I had a 2” scratch I missed and hade to remove
Ahhhh I thought you had some sort of proprietary concoction 
I did some testing with beeswax and mineral spirts, works for old tools real well, I seldom use my anvil so smeared it down with some and no rust! ( I live in south west LOuisiana ) so if I end up buying a dragon wagon , or larger table I’ll be doing some cyphering on rust prevention ,
