Vise advice

I currently have a small Heuer vise for fine work on my workbench. I just ordered the small Dragon Wagon with the Sidekick vise as a fabrication workbench.

My workshop is small so I am prioritizing space. I wonder if I need a bigger vise (either my current Wilton C2 or a FB Vise). If don’t need one, I’ll sell the C2.

Question to group: do I need a bigger vise beyond the small Heuer and the Sidekick vises?

I use vises mainly for filing, sanding and grinding - I don’t see a need for heavy hammering.

Id use what you have. No need for a larger vise unless you really want one. They can be used as a press or an anvil in some instances. This might be the justification for a Hardtail in a small workshop. But if you haven’t need those features, I’d invest the money into table fixtures. Those will get the most use and increase your options during fabrication.
