Aronson weld positioner fixture table retro fit

I am in the process of restoring an Aronson weld positioner. I would like to find the best way to attach a fixture table to it. I have been considering the 54’'x54" dragon wagon. I am also considering the DIY 54"x54" table. My concern is with the weight of the dragon wagon vs the DIY option. I would like the 5 side option of the dragon wagon for potential future additional tooling, but can’t seem to find the weight of the dragon wagon. I also would be interested to hear other’s input on the benefit/losses of the 5 sides if I went with the DIY model. Any ideas on the best way to attach it and pros and cons of the two different tables are appreciated.

My opinion: don’t bother with the old positioner.

Years back I got a different model Aronson positioner and made a crude fixture plate for it. Over time I found that my primary usage wanted flat and square…the rotate & tilt capability was seldom needed. Eventually I bought a Fireball table and sold my contraption to a local fab shop and they immediately ditched the fixture plate so that they could use the positioner as it was intended. The positioner also ends up eating a lot of floor space. The Fireball table is far more effective in my shop.

A cool idea in theory, but kinda like welding a Ferrari to a dumptruck.
