Measuring twice, cutting once, then realizing the clamps are holding the tape measure to the wrong side of the project.
Every vise has two torque specs: the one in the manual, and the one your confidence invents five minutes before something snaps.
Me: I’ll just make one quick cut. Also me, two hours later: measuring the same piece for the sixth time.
